Welcome! I’m Karen—a retired Physical Therapist by training, a passionate Christian small business owner, and most importantly, a Jesus follower, wife, and proud mother to two teenage boys. (Ask me about my parenting journey!)

Since 2019, I’ve been on a creative journey, crafting and selling home décor in local shops, and offering color consultation and home decorating services. My mission has always been to create spaces that bless and inspire peace, joy, and wholeness.

In 2021, my path took an unexpected turn when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The treatments and surgeries that followed led to lymphedema, a condition that deeply impacted my life. This experience reignited my roots in physical therapy and drove me to become a Certified Lymphatic Therapist. Through this certification, I’ve embraced a new technique called Assisted Lymphatic Therapy—an approach that blends physical well-being with holistic practices. God is so good and His plans are greater than mine.

I am also deeply committed to improving my own health and that of my family. Nutritional changes have become an essential part of our wellness journey, and we’ve incorporated a diet rich in wholesome foods, supported by carefully vetted, evidence-based nutraceuticals. These supplements are selected to complement the lymphatic system’s natural detoxification process and enhance the healing potential of Assisted Lymphatic Therapy.

As a lifelong learner, I’m passionate about educating my clients on innovative wellness tools and emerging research. I believe that when we understand how our bodies heal, we’re empowered to make choices that support lasting transformation.

Today, I combine my expertise in wellness, nutrition, and home décor to help others on their journey toward healing and harmony. My business, Broken & Beautiful, has become more than a name—it’s a mission. It is built on the belief that our environments, bodies, and diets work together to support overall health. Whether it’s transforming living spaces, empowering clients with lymphatic wellness, or advocating for nutritional improvements,

I’m here to share my experience, knowledge, and heart to make a difference. I am prayerful for the relationships that will be made and the healing stories that are in store for my clients.

Karen also has a heart to give back to the vulnerable and specifically to orphans and anti-human trafficking. A percentage of our proceeds go towards supporting organizations that empower and provide resources for healing and success.

Thank you for visiting—let’s embark on this wholistic journey together.

"Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by Him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." —Isaiah 53:4–5
